| Firestopping is not just one particular phase of construction but J-Kaulk will also be present during the final phase of inspection to review all of its work and correct any problems that might arise. Fortunately, there have been few problems and fewer instances of unresolved issues. Most contractors are familiar with J-Kaulk’s work and are aware that when there is a problem, the J Kaulk team will address it and not allow it to disrupt the workflow. The people at J-Kaulk also know how to manage their time. Running 6 to 10 crews each day, while managing and estimating hundreds of jobs each year, are skills few other firestopping companies can match. Each J-Kaulk foreman and supervisor has developed exceptional relationships with inspectors and contractors and is able to handle a vast array of assignments from insulation, waterproofing and drywall patchwork to CMU block work, curtain wall construction, joint sealing and other firestopping related tasks. This versatile team will travel to wherever the job takes it. J-Kaulk has an East Coast division and a Gulf Coast Division. If an assignment is outside this area however, J-Kaulk will be one of the first on-hand. ![]() |
